So we were messing around after the world Endurance Championship race today with overpowered stupidcars when I decided to see just how fast an X1/9 would go. Then I got onto the Rivals mode and did this. It is R class classic compacts division.

X1/9 are certainly cool, but how are divisions sorted?

R class Indianapolis in my division is 47.822 and I’m at 50.45 with a #4 McLaren M8B

The divisions are what type of car you are driving. Your McLaren M8 is in one of the formula 1 divisions.

Cool. How many of you are using a wheel vs gamepad? I seem to be stalled out online, not sure if I suck or not using a wheel.

Myself and most of the people I race with are using a controller. I plan on eventually buying a wheel and pedals though.

You will probably want to adjust the deadzone settings on your controller in the advanced controller settings.

I have a G920 but use a controller for Endurance and Team Touring cars as I can look around more easily to *Hopefully* avoida collision. But it’s wheel all the way for Rivals

I second this, the Avensis isn’t made for speed and I’m running 1:58's constantly but Macks ghost has a good 10mph on me over the line.

And the Volvos/Mercs probably have 10mph over that judging by Robo and i race goat’s times :( This might be a race we have to take an L at and try and make up for it at Bathurst...
